If only divorced parents could mutually agree on meaningful possession schedules while co-parenting their kids! But since many cannot or will not, the Texas Courts generally use a One-Size-Fits-All Standard Possession order for all children over three years of age. The Texas Legislature over time has expanded the schedule to make access a little more flexible. Texas Strikes a Blow to Mug Shot Websites
Many complain that mug shot websites are merely a method to harass and embarrass those that have had dealings in the criminal justice system. New legislation in Texas, SB 1289, has passed and the law prohibits businesses from publishing criminal record information if the business has received notice of expunction or an order of nondisclosure. It also provides that a business is liable for up to $500 a day to be paid to the person whose information is published, and for an award to reasonable attorney’s fees.
